MotoGP is likely to resume action from August, after the opening 9 races of the season, were either cancelled or postponed, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Dorna sports CEO, Carmelo Ezpeleta, said the Mot racing body is working to have races from August. This would mean the earliest possible curtain-raiser would be the Czech Grand Prix.
Ezpeleta also said the Moto-2 and Moto-3 campaigns will get underway, when racing finally restarts. But, the teams in all 3 categories will be asked to bring along only a bare minimum of personnel to the tracks.
He also called on MotoGP riders to take pay cuts in the wake of the global outbreak.
