NBA: New Orleans Pelicans 97-118 Dallas Mavericks

Over the NBA, the Dallas Mavericks have rolled past the New Orleans Pelicans 118 to 97 at the Smoothie King Center.

Following a tight play in the 1st quarter, which ended 24-all, the visiting Mavericks overwhelmed the hosts to take a 6-point lead at the intermission. Dallas stretched their advantage to 9 points by the end of the 3rd period and completed the Road Victory with a 34 to 22 win in the final quarter.

Luka Doncic had 33 points and 18 rebounds for Dallas, who have won 8 times in their last 9 games, while Brandon Ingram scored 24 points for the Pelicans as New Orleans suffered their 6th loss in a row.

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs rallied from 16 points down in the 4th quarter to beat the visiting Houston Rockets 135 to 133 in double overtime on Tuesday.

San Antonio, who trailed by 16 points by the end of the 3rd period, came out firing in the 4th to take it 34 to 18, sending the game to overtime. The 2 sides then played out an 11-all draw in the 1st overtime and sealed their comeback victory with 3.3 seconds remaining in the 2nd extra session.

DeMar DeRozan made the game-winning free throws to neutralize all the 50 points that James Harden poured in for the Houston Rockets.
