US President Donald Trump has lashed out at an aide to Vice President Mike Pence amid the Ukraine scandal.

The president took to Twitter Sunday to attack Jennifer Williams, a career foreign service officer and staffer to Pence over calling his phone call with Ukrainian President Zelenskiy “inappropriate” in a closed-door House hearing.

Trump and his 020 campaign have been insisting on reading the redacted transcripts of calls with Zelenskiy, which clearly demonstrate quid pro quo.

“Tell Jennifer Williams, whoever that is, to read BOTH transcripts of the presidential calls, & see the just released ststement [sic] from Ukraine,” the president tweeted Sunday afternoon. “Then she should meet with the other Never Trumpers, who I don’t know & mostly never even heard of, & work out a better presidential attack!”

Williams testified that she has firsthand knowledge of the July 25 phone call between Trump and Zelensky as one of the officials on the call.

Trump has previously attacked diplomat William Taylor and State Department official George Kent over their testimonies as part of an impeachment effort in the lower chamber of US Congress, labeling the non-partisan figures “Never Trumpers.”

“Republicans & others must remember, the Ukrainian President and Foreign Minister both said that there was no pressure placed on them whatsoever,” he wrote in another tweet. “Also, they didn’t even know the money wasn’t paid, and got the money with no conditions. But why isn’t Germany, France (Europe) paying?”

The president, who has previously said that he does not follow the public impeachment hearings, further attacked House Democrats over the effort.

“The Crazed, Do Nothing Democrats are turning Impeachment into a routine partisan weapon. That is very bad for our Country, and not what the Founders had in mind!!!!”

Trump is facing an impeachment inquiry after a whistlerblower complaint emerged that he had pressured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to dig up "dirt" on Biden.
