Thousands of Yellow Vests protesters marched through the streets of Paris as they gathered for the 46th consecutive weekend of demonstrations.

Footage shows protesters carrying flags and banners denouncing President Emmanuel Macron's government. Police officers were deployed to monitor the demonstration but the rally appeared to be peaceful.

Since the beginning of the protests last November, tens of thousands have joined demonstrations across France over a variety of grievances, ranging from the rise in fuel prices to income inequality. The rallies then turned into a wider movement against Macron's policies.
