On Saturday morning, as many as 10 Yemeni drones, operated by Ansarullah movement and its allies, attacked 2 major oil facilities deep inside Saudi Arabia.

The unprecedented attack was a retaliatory response to Saudi Arabia’s relentless aggression on Yemen which began in 2015. The strikes knocked out more than half of Saudi crude output, or 5% of global supply. Following the attacks Saudi and US officials claimed, without providing any evidence that Iran was behind the incident. US President Donald Trump took to twitter saying Washington was locked and loaded for a response.
