Ethiopian Jews' uprising: police impunity

The protests that shook Israel on July second had all the signs of race riots.

Nineteen-year-old Solomon Teka, a black teenager from the minority Ethiopian Jewish community in Israel, had been shot dead by an off-duty policeman in unclear circumstances.

This is not the first time, and the Ethiopian Jewish community in Israel insists this won't be the last. Why? Police impunity is part of the reason.
