The Golden State Warriors have advanced to the NBA finals, for the fifth straight season, after sweeping the Portland Trail Blazers 4-nothing in the Western Conference Finals.

At Moda Center in Portland, the Warriors were the better side in the opening frame and finished it with a single point in front. However, the Blazers fought back and won the second quarter as they led 69 to 65 at the intermission.

The hosts kept the momentum in the third, but the visitors once again dominated the match in the final period, tying it at 111-all, and sending the match to overtime, where the Warriors registered a 119 to 117 victory.

Stephen Curry tallied 37 points for the Warriors, as Meyers Leonard bagged 30 for the Blazers.

The Warriors will face the winners of the Eastern Conference Finals between Toronto and Milwaukee.
