To football news and Egypt superstar Mohamed Salah has been voted as the African footballer of the year for the 2nd successive year.
The Confederation of African Football 2018 Awards Ceremony was held in the Senegalese capital on Tuesday, where the Liverpool player beat his teammate Sadio Mane and Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The honour is voted for by CAF national teams' head coaches, technical directors, the members of the governing body’s technical and development committee and a panel of journalists.
Salah scored 44 goals for Liverpool last season as the Merseyside Reds reached the UEFA Champions League Final and finished 4th in the English Premier League.
