Protesters gathered outside NH Hotel Gran Provincial in the coastal city of Mar del Plata close to Buenos Aires on Friday where they slammed a G20 delegations' meeting and set they US flag on fire.
Police monitored protesters outside the venue hosting the G20 Trade and Investment Ministerial meeting as they put up posters and banners denouncing the international forum and US President Donald Trump.
"Eighty-five percent of the world's businesses are represented here and our people are still starving," said Juan Ucci, a member of Votamos Luchar, literally 'we vote to fight.'
The ministerial meeting taking place in Mar del Plata is one of the many meetings hosted by Argentina in preparation of G20 Leaders' Summit taking place in Buenos Aires from November 30 to December 1.
