Iran men’s team blanks Netherlands to cruise in 2018 World Team Table Tennis Championships
The Iran men’s national table tennis team has captured another great win at the 2018 World Team Table Tennis Championships in Sweden, and proudly marched into the next level of the prestigious international sports event.
On Friday afternoon, the Iranian side trounced the Netherlands 3-0 at the Halmstad Arena in the western Swedish city of Halmstad.
Earlier in the day, the Iran women’s national table tennis outfit went down to a narrow 2-3 defeat against Chile.
The Iran men’s national table tennis team is scheduled to face Ukraine at 10 a.m. local time (0800 GMT) on Saturday.
The 2018 World Team Table Tennis Championships started on April 29, and will finish on May 6, 2018.
