Iranian female and male ping pong players have stretched their winning streaks at the Perfect 2016 World Team Table Tennis Championships in Malaysia, and notched up three more emphatic wins.
On Tuesday, Iranian women’s national table tennis team, comprised of Mahboubeh Omrani, Neda Shahsavari and Maryam Samet, chalked up a resounding 3-0 victory against their Philippine counterparts to gain their fourth consecutive victory in the tournament.
The Iranian women’s national table tennis team had previously triumphed over Pakistan, Sri Lanka, before being called victorious and earning three points in their third contest against absent Ethiopians.
It is scheduled to take on Venezuela in its fifth encounter on Wednesday.
Iranian men’s national table tennis squad also subdued the Netherlands and Canada 3-0 each on the second day of the 2016 World Team Table Tennis Championships on Monday.
The Perfect 2016 World Team Table Tennis Championships opened in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on February 28, and will wrap up on March 6, 2016.
