Israel admits to bombing Dayr al-Zawr in 2007

Israel has formally admitted that it carried out an air raid in Syria’s eastern province of Dayr al-Zawr back in 2007. Israel claims the airstrike targeted and destroyed a nuclear reactor there. This is the first time in more than a decade that the Israeli military has commented publicly on the operation. More details in the following report by our al-Quds correspondent Fatima Abdulkarim.
