Iranian snooker player Amir Sarkhosh has demonstrated remarkable skills at the 2017 International Billiards & Snooker Federation (IBSF) World Snooker Championship in Qatar, and received a silver medal in the high-status event.
The Iranian sportsman suffered a 2-8 defeat in his final clash against 32-year-old Pankaj Advani from India at Al Arabi Sports Club in the Qatari capital city of Doha on Monday, and landed in the second place.
Sarkhosh had earlier overcome his compatriot Ehsan Heydarinejad 7-6 and advanced to the final. Heydarinejad settled for the bronze medal.
The 2017 IBSF World Snooker Championship kicked off on November 17, and wrapped up on November 27.
