EU foreign policy chief, Federica Mogherini, visited Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh on Sunday before flying to Myanmar for a meeting on the crisis.
"More than putting pressure, I would say that our approach has always been and will always continue to be to offer a negotiating space, [and] encourage the taking care of the situation that is not going to disappear," said Mogherini of the talks in Myanmar's capital city, Naypyidaw.
She also called for the understanding of the young democratic government of Myanmar's Aung San Suu Kyi after touring the Kutupalong refugee camp and speaking to Rohingya women.
