Iranian judoka Mollaei bags bronze in The Hague Grand Prix 2017

Iranian judoka Saeid Mollaei has demonstrated notable athletic skills at The Hague Grand Prix 2017, and collected a bronze medal at the prestigious international sporting event.

On Saturday, the 25-year-old judo practitioner defeated Frank de Wit, a representative from the host nation, in his last under 81-kilogram weight class contest and ranked third.

Russian judoka Ivan Vorobev downed German competitor Dominic Ressel, and won the gold medal.

The Hague Grand Prix 2017 opened in the Netherlands on November 17 and will conclude on November 19.

The tournament has brought together dozens of male and female judokas from various world countries, including Argentina, Belgium, Canada, Georgia, Germany, Great Britain, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, the Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, Qatar, Russia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates.
