US President Donald Trump’s Friday claim that Iran is not complying with the 2015 nuclear deal is “very dishonest” and the world knows it, says a commentator.

Since the consensus around the globe is that “Iran has been compliant with the agreement,” President Trump “is lying now,” Mark Weber told Press TV on Saturday.

“The statement ... by Donald Trump is a profoundly dishonest one,” because “on two earlier occasions Trump and the US government certified that Iran was in compliance with the 2015 nuclear accord, now he is saying Iran is not compliant,” the director of the Institute for Historical Review said.

The US president’s unrealistic remarks will “further erode America’s credibility,” he noted.
