An analyst believes US President Donald Trump's threats against Iran represent a continuation of a very long history of Washington's "hostility" towards the Islamic Republic.
“There is nothing new in American hostility towards the Islamic Republic of Iran. They were responsible as you well know for the overthrow of the Iranian government in 1953, they installed the Shah, he was their puppet for a long period of time and after the Islamic Revolution in 1979 there has been unremitting hostility by the United States towards Iran,” James O'Neill told Press TV in an interview on Friday.
