Debate: Tensions on Korean Peninsula

The U.S. and South Korea begin their annual joint military exercises on Monday, while North Korea warns that the exercises would deepen tensions on the Korean Peninsula by “throwing fuel onto fire.”

In this episode of The Debate, Press TV has conducted an interview with Richard Becker, with the ANSWER Coalition from San Francisco, and Jim Walsh, a research associate with MIT Security Studies Program at Massachusetts Institute from Boston, to discuss North Korea's warning of deepening tensions on the Korean Peninsula following the recent joint military exercises by US and South Korea.
