Brazilian midfielder Crivellaro joins Iran’s Sepahan football club

Brazilian professional footballer Rafael Schuler Crivellaro has signed with Iran's Foolad Mobarakeh Sepahan Esfahan Football Club, commonly known as Sepahan, which plays in the Persian Gulf Pro League.

The 28-year-old penned a contract during a ceremony in the central Iranian city of Isfahan, located about 340 kilometers (211 miles) south of the capital Tehran, on Tuesday, joining Sepahan on a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee.

Crivellaro started his playing career with Brazilian football club SER Caxias do Sul, also known as Caxias, which plays the Brazilian Third Division – Campeonato Brasileiro Série C – in 2009.

He then moved to Guaratinguetá and made his professional debut in a match against Icasa on October 19, 2010.

Crivellaro has also played at Portuguese professional football club Vitória Guimarães, Ajman Club in the United Arab Emirates, Polish football club Wisła Kraków and Portugal’s Primeira Liga club Arouca.
