The Iran men's national basketball team has defeated China in an exhibition game staged in the northeastern Chinese port city of Dalian.
The Iranians snatched a narrow victory on Tuesday, prevailing over their East Asian counterparts 63-60.
The Iranian basketball players opened the first quarter in a better fashion, and made diverse attacks and blocks.
The second quarter played out much like the first, and the Persians notched enough points to claim the first half 48-38.
The Iranian players were resolute and not willing to give away an inch. They scored points to surge ahead, and eventually sealed their win at 63-60.
The Iran men's national basketball team is scheduled to play two other scrimmages with Chinese teams later this week.
