Texas, 1966. Millions of viewers on TV and more than 35,000 fans in the Astrodome Stadium in Huston watched the rivalry between two of the best boxers of the 60s.
Although Cleveland had nine consecutive wins in his record, he still had nothing to say in front of the young and less experienced Muhammad Ali. During the match, Cleveland managed to throw only ten punches toward Muhammad Ali, a man who flied like a butterfly and stung like a bee. In just four rounds, Muhammad Ali managed to knock down Cleveland three times, forcing the referee Harry Kessler to end the match. That was the night Muhammad Ali was called “Ali the shuffle” for the first time.
