Tunisia’s Truth and Dignity Commission is holding public hearing sessions for victims of abuse under decades of authoritarian rule in the country. According to the commission, over 60,000 complaints, including torture and rape, have been filed related to the period of time before President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali was ousted in 2011.
