US Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump insists that Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton’s team and the media are trying to rig the November election against him. Trump has declared he might not accept the results if there is evidence it was rigged.
Veterans Today Editor Mike Harris believes Trump is right to say that he should challenge the outcome of the election, adding that voter fraud in the United States is very “widespread”.
“Voter fraud is everywhere in the USA and we cannot trust our election process. So Trump is spot-on in saying we are going to challenge every vote, every state, to make sure that the results are as they are stated,” the analyst told Press TV on Friday.
Harris also noted that the two-party system in the US is “an illusion”, because the donors to both the Democratic and Republican parties are the same.
He went on to say that there is a one-party system in the United Sates which is the establishment party that has been set up as a “monopoly” to exclude third-party candidates.
“It's been locked down so that the voices that are outside of the establishment - those who challenge the status quo - are intentionally locked out of the political process,” he stated.
According to a new poll released on Monday, 41 percent of American voters are saying the 2016 election could be "stolen" from Trump due to widespread voter fraud.
And 73 percent of Republican voters think the election could be stolen from the billionaire businessman, while 17 percent of Democrats agree with the prospect of rigging.
