Volleyball: Iran thrash Egypt 3-0 in Pool B

Iran overwhelmed Egypt 28-26, 25-22 and 25-16 in the Group B match. Shahram Mahmoudi led Iran with 21 points, while Milad Ebadipour added 10.

This was Iran’s second victory in a row at the Olympics following a straight sets win over Cuba. The Asian giants will next take on Russia. Argentina and Poland also compete in Group B.
