France is hosting foreign ministers of several Arab and European countries in an effort to put the so-called Israel-Palestinian peace talks back on track. Palestinians remain skeptical about France’s efforts to revive the negotiations with the Israelis stressing that they only want an end to the occupation and the establishment of their own independent state. Several Palestinian factions have also rejected the Paris meeting saying instead of restoring the Palestinians' rights, the talks only strengthen the Israeli occupation.
