- The Syrian army and its allies launch a major operation, said to be the fiercest in months, against foreign-backed militants south of Aleppo in the country’s north.
- More than 70 mercenaries of Saudi Arabia are reportedly killed and dozens injured following missile attacks by Yemen’s Ansarullah and allied forces on a military complex in the province of Jawf.
