Turkey's bid to lift immunity of pro-Kurdish MPs gathers pace

Turkey has recently stepped up efforts to lift the immunity from prosecution of the members of the pro-Kurdish People's Democratic Party. Ankara is seeking to prosecute senior HDP deputies on charges of belonging to an armed terrorist group and promoting an autonomous region in the southeast.
