Thai professional football club Suphanburi, which is currently playing in Thailand’s Premier League, has signed Iranian footballer Reza Haghighi for a fee of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
The 26-year-old Iranian recently finalized a deal worth $350,000 with the Thai club. No information about the length of the contract was immediately available.
Haghighi started his career at the age of 16, and made his debut for Payam Vahdat Mashhad Football Club on November 10, 2006.
He later joined Fajr Shahid Sepasi Shiraz Football Club in the summer of 2009 and played for the team by the end of 2012.
On November 21, 2012, Haghighi penned a 2.5-year-contract with Tehran-based Persepolis until the end of the 2014–15 season.
The young Iranian sportsman moved to Padideh Khorasan Football Club in December 2014 with a contract until the end of season.
in summer 2015, Sabaye Qom Football Club signed Haghighi on a two-year contract. He was released before mid-season, having featured in only six matches for the club.
