Press TV has conducted an interview with Mark Glenn, a political commentator from Idaho, on Saudi Arabia's bombardment of an international charity clinic in Yemen.
The following is a rough transcription of the interview.
Press TV: What do you think about repeated instances of Saudi Arabia targeting unfortunately hospitals, schools and most recently this international medical charity clinic belonging to MSF?
Glenn: Yeah, well I think that it’s very interesting to say the least that we also saw similar incidents take place just a few month ago whit the United States bombed a hospital that was run by these very same group of doctors in Afghanistan and killed 19 people.
And given the fact the Saudis are working so closely with the United States, after all these ammunitions that fell on this clinic were supplied by the United States.
And I think because of the fact that the United States does make the high-tech weaponry, but it does that we can forgo the possibility that somehow this was a mistake or something like that.
The Saudis knew exactly what they were doing. This mimics exactly what the Israelis have done when they have been engaged in the kind of ritual human slaughter that they have perpetrated against the Palestinians when they targeted hospitals, schools and things like that.
And I think that really what underscores is just what a completely lawless and barbaric political entity Saudi Arabia has become, given the fact that now it is joined head to head with the United States and Israel.
Press TV: Do you think Saudi Arabia given that it has the backing of its allies like the United States and the UK? Do you think it will ever be held accountable for the indiscriminate killing of civilians?
Glenn: No, of course not, I mean, the United States has the blood of millions of Iraqis on its hands, of the Syrians and the Libyans. And the United States has not been brought to account.
The UK obviously has assisted the United States in this. And Israel has the blood of millions of Palestinians on her hands and nobody has been brought to account.
So, with this is the model for us to follow and with organizations such as the United Nations and the Arab League and all of these other groups that as your previous [guest] described them are basically just toothless organizations.
Why should the Saudis be worried that anything untoward or problematic is going to come their way, when their twin sisters, who are engaging in the same kind of barbaric behavior are given a free reign to bring murder and mayhem to innocent people all around the world?
