The Syrian army is gaining more ground in the battle against the ISIL and other terrorist groups. It has now managed to secure a northern village.
According to the Syrian TV, the village of Tel Hadya located in the southern belt of Aleppo countryside was captured earlier on Friday. The takeover helps government forces push closer to the main highway linking the capital Damascus to Syria’s northern cities. On Thursday, Syrian forces and Hezbollah fighters backed by Russian air cover liberated a string of villages and farmlands south of Aleppo. The strategic town of Hadir was among recaptured areas. Syrian forces also killed several terrorists and destroyed their hideouts during Thursday operations in the province.
