WikiLeaks founder poses greatest threat ever to US, UK: Analyst

Press TV has interviewed Scott Bennet, a former US army psychological warfare officer and counter-terrorism analyst, in San Francisco, to discuss Britain’s refusal to grant WikilLeakes founder Julian Assange a safe passage for medical checkup.

The following is a rough transcription of the interview.

Press TV: Where is the humanity in keeping him holed up and denying him medical attention?

Bennet: There is no humanity of course. They are desperate to kill Assange as quickly as possible because he represents the greatest threat to America and Britain ever.

He single-handedly has supplied documents, and not just opinions but actual verifiable State Department documents and cables which exposed extreme wrong-doing and corruption within the United States’ State Department and various congressional agencies, and that is what is now being exposed with the current judicial watch, examinations of Hillary Clinton’s emails.

You are seeing WikiLeaks cables being broaden as the evidence, the WikiLeaks cables of 2009 incidentally have exposed the Bradley Birkenfeld, Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS), Swiss banking connection to Attorney General Eric Holder, Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer, Hillary Clinton, when she was secretary of state.

Those WikiLeaks cables disclosed the targeted prosecution of Brad Birkenfeld. They also disclosed that Edward Snowden, when he was with the CIA, was part of the CIA’s targeting of Birkenfeld when he was in Geneva.

All that was contained in the WikiLeaks cables that were released, and those cables were dated to 2008 to 2009. Now that is the biggest danger and threat to Hillary Clinton, to the Obama administration because they disclose Abdul Aziz and a lot of these [Persian] Gulf nations funding money to terrorism through Swiss bank accounts that we now see an ISIS, we saw on Libya, we saw on the Iraq theater and all of that is just catching up to them, now and that is where Julian Assange; Julian has the most power because it is not just what he reported in the past, it is what he has the potential to report in the future, and Britain is paranoid because Britain is closely connected with these WikiLeaks cables and the terrorist financing connection.

We wrote all about this in Shell Game and we reported it to Dianne Feinstein, the intelligence committee in the Senate, Mike Rogers, the intelligence committee in the House, the Armed Services committees and all of those congressional people did nothing, a lot of whom were connected to UBS themselves. They had Swiss bank accounts. So all of that is now being examined, it is being part of legal investigation and WikiLeaks and Julian Assange really holds the key because they could single-handedly focused the people and resources on WikiLeaks to work in Tandem with the Hilary Clinton investigation and all of the pieces of the puzzle are now assembling. You do not have to be creative you do not have to invent this. They are all coming together and you are seeing WikiLeaks, Brad Birkenfeld, Union Bank of Switzerland, Eric Holder, Covington & Burling, Lanny Breuer, President Obama, all of these parties implicit in a grand scandal and also connect Senator Carl Levin, Senator John McCain at the Senate Permanent Subcommittee of Investigations and Union Bank of Switzerland is right and my defense contractor Booz Allen Hamilton was also connected to that in Covington & Burling.

So Julian Assange represents the biggest thorn to the American public. Now he should be helped? He should be made a citizen of Ecuador, given diplomatic immunity and immediately in that diplomatic immunity to be allowed to get medical help, otherwise; it is a crime against humanity and international aid organizations should jump in his defense.
