Thousands of Muslims in Indian-controlled Kashmir have flocked to mosques and religious places to mark the martyrdom anniversary of the first Shia Imam, Imam Ali. During the ceremonies, prayers praised Imam Ali’s teachings and discussed his personality. Shahana Butt tells us more in her report from Kashmir.
