Pakistani Shia Muslims have held ceremonies across the country to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of first Shia Imam, Imam Ali. In the port city of Karachi, mourners braved the scorching heat to attend the ceremonies. They also used the opportunity to slam Western countries’ anti-Islam policies.
