Matar Ebrahim Ali Matar, a former Bahraini lawmaker from Washington, slams the international community for failing to take “effective” measures in the face of the Manama regime’s crackdown on opposition.

Emboldened by the support of some Western states and their Persian allies, the rulers in Bahrain stick to their oppressive policies in dealing with political dissidents in the kingdom, Matar tells Press TV.
