Former lawmaker Jalal Fairooz has touched on the Bahraini regime's violation of human rights, saying more disgraceful is the West's support for the island's rulers. 

“You could see how shameful the Bahraini regime is, but on the other side, you could see the Western powers are backing this tyranny and brutal regime (Al Khalifah regime),” and “it is the money and petrodollar that speaks.”
