Palestinian children make up 156 of the prisoners held in the Israeli prisons, with 17 of them being under the age of 16.
These children are arrested with no regard to the Geneva Conventions, and their rights. Some are arrested in late night hours or in very early morning hours. Moreover, they are taken to Israeli military courts to be tried as adults.
This experience leaves these children traumatized for life. And their families are left alone to help them through this horrible predicament.
