Yemen’s armed forces have announced the execution of three joint military operations with the Iraqi resistance targeting Israeli positions, as part of their ongoing efforts to halt the relentless violence against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
In a statement, Yemeni Army spokesman Yahya Saree reported that two drone attacks successfully struck Zionist positions in northern occupied Palestine, while another operation targeted a significant site in Umm Al-Rashrash (Eilat) Port in southern occupied Palestine.
According to the Yemeni Armed Forces, all three operations, conducted using multiple drones within a 48-hour timeframe, achieved their intended objectives.
The statement emphasized the commitment of both Yemeni and Iraqi resistance fighters to continue their response to Israeli aggression until it ceases and the blockade on Gaza is lifted.
Since the onset of Israel's military campaign against Gaza over a year ago, which has resulted in over 43,000 deaths, Yemen has carried out hundreds of operations against Israeli targets.
The Yemeni forces have also imposed a semi-blockade on Israel, restricting the movement of Israeli-linked vessels in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea.
Following a recent ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, which ended two months of intense bombardment in southern and central Lebanon, Yemen and Iraqi resistance have maintained their anti-Israel operations.
Last Thursday, the leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement stated that both Yemen and the Iraqi resistance bear a significant responsibility to assist the people of Gaza despite pressures from the U.S. and its allies.
Abdulmalik al-Houthi remarked, “The U.S. continues to exert economic pressure through the UN and other organizations in hopes that we will change our stance. All these efforts are futile; they will not succeed in altering our position.”
He added, “While Israelis claim they want to isolate Gaza, we are here to tell them: We will not allow such a thing to happen.”
