Mahmood Daniel Aria has been a key member of our team of anchors since 2013.  Throughout his tenure, he has covered some of the most pivotal events around the world from protests and wars to elections.

Daniel also hosts the program We the People. He started out as a correspondent for our Tehran Bureau and a newswriter at the Newsroom. He soon transitioned into a prime time news anchor.

He has a dual Bachelor’s degree in Law and Society/Philosophy from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Aside from broadcast journalism, he has also worked in business, banking, and education industries.
