Millions of Iranians take to the streets across the country to commemorate the anniversary of the US embassy takeover, also known as Den of Espionage, which is named the National Day against the Global Arrogance.

This day, 43 years ago, I was detained atop the Statue of Liberty in New York for taking part in a peaceful protest against the Jimmy Carter administration.
