Russia has started the evacuation of hundreds of people from Afghanistan amid violent chaos at the Kabul international airport and and jitters in the Afghan capital over the takeover of the country by the Taliban militant group.

Following the agreement on a ceasefire, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan withdrew their military units from the borderline inward to their territories.

Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan say they have agreed on a complete ceasefire to end deadly clashes across their shared border.
