The Taliban and its allies have allegedly killed more than 100 former Afghan government members, security personnel and people who worked with the international military contingent in Afghanistan, claims a new UN report.

Afghanistan’s Central Bank has announced that following a series of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, the third shipment of cash in aid by the UN body containing 19.2 million dollars arrived in Kabul.

At least one Afghan security guard is killed in an attack on the main United Nations compound in western Afghanistan.

The United Nations has reported nearly 2,400 Afghan civilian casualties in clashes between the Taliban and government forces in the month of May and June alone, marking a new high in 12 years.

The figures include 340 children killed and another 727 injured.
