Saudi princes were reportedly tortured and blackmailed during Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s 2017 royal purge at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in the capital Riyadh.

Two senior Saudi royals arrested recently have reportedly been seeking to block the accession to the throne of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

A hugely-popular Saudi Sunni cleric, who has been imprisoned since last year for critiquing the kingdom’s policies, is reportedly taken away to attend a “secret trial.”

Saudi Arabia is keeping dozens of people, including one prince, who were arrested in a so-called anti-corruption purge last November, The Wall Street Journal reports.

Over the past year, the hotel has hosted President Donald Trump on his first state visit abroad for a $110 billion arms deal and then the Saudi elite who had to cough up more than $106 billion in "settlements."  

The Saudi attorney general says 56 Saudi elites are still in custody over corruption allegations.

Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal has reportedly been released around two months after he detained as part of the Riyadh regime’s so-called campaign against corruption.
