Iranians have held massive rallies in the capital Tehran and other cities after Friday prayers to voice support for the Palestinians and condemn the Israeli regime’s genocide in the Gaza Strip.
The protesters carried banners and chanted slogans against the United States and Israeli regime for their criminal acts against the innocent people of Palestine.
They voiced support for the resistance front and the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, urging an end to the US-Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip.
In their final statement, the demonstrators in Tehran said the resumption of the Gaza genocide by the Israeli regime indicate its desperation in the face of Gaza's resistance and the US inability to end the crises caused by Israel.
They warned the US and Israel that their plan of “dead land” and turning Gaza into an uninhabitable place is a delusional dream and their impossible wish.
The statement emphasized that the Palestinian fighters in Gaza will continue their battle until the complete expulsion of the occupiers from Palestine.
The noble and patient Gazans should know that the Iranian nation would always support them, it added.
The demonstrators called on Iranian officials and diplomats to urge all countries in the region and across the world to put an end to the Israeli regime’s genocidal war.
They expressed their support for any military act against the Israeli regime and in support of the resistance front.
The marchers of the "Fridays of Rage" said they would become the cry of the oppressed people of Gaza amid the Israeli genocide to break the deadly silence that has dominated the world.
Israel resumed its campaign of genocide in Gaza on March 18 after a two-month truce and sent troops back into the blockaded Palestinian region. In the three weeks since, the health ministry in Gaza says Israeli military strikes have killed nearly 1,500 Palestinians.
Since late March, Israel has ordered Gazans out of territory around the edges of the strip to create what it describes as a security zone; residents fear the aim is to permanently depopulate swathes of territory.
