US-Israeli Gaza genocide

At least 30 Palestinians, including children, are killed in pre-dawn Israeli attacks across Gaza, as the regime’s resumed offensive on the Palestinian territory has entered its 8th day in a row. The latest Israeli strikes targeted several areas including Al-Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City and al-Mawasi refugee camp near Khan Yunis. According to a non-governmental organization, more than 270 children have been killed since the Gaza genocide was reignited on March 18th. “Save the Children” says the figure marks some of the deadliest days for children since the war on Gaza began. Israeli bombings also claimed the lives of two journalists on Monday, bringing to 208 the total number of media workers killed in the besieged strip since October 20-23. The death toll since the genocidal war began has surpassed 50,100.

Israeli crimes against Palestinians

Israeli forces have detained an Oscar-winning Palestinian filmmaker in the occupied West Bank after he was beaten up by settlers. Activists say Hamdan Ballal, the Palestinian co-director of the Oscar-winning documentary "No Other Land", suffered a bleeding head and abdominal injuries in the assault. According to his co-director, Ballal called him in distress on Monday, but by the time he arrived, Ballal had been taken away. He said Israeli settlers and military forces surrounded Ballal's home, with Israeli forces preventing anyone from approaching. He added Balal had not been heard from since. "No Other Land" recently won an Oscar for its portrayal of the challenges faced by Palestinian communities in the Occupied West Bank.

Israel Syria strike

The Israeli military has carried out fresh deadly airstrikes on Syria, killing at least seven people including a woman. The strikes hit the town of Koya in the southern governorate of Dara’a. Media reports said the Israeli attacks came after the regime’s forces faced resistance by locals while attempting to enter the town. The airstrikes come hours after Israel launched attacks on two Syrian airbases near the city of Palmyra. The Hamas resistance movement slammed the attacks, saying Israel is expanding the scope of its aggression in the region. Israel has launched a spate of airstrikes on Syria to rob the country of its military capabilities. The number of the strikes has multiplied since the takeover by Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham militants.
