Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement has given the Israeli regime a four-day ultimatum to lift its blockade on Gaza or face consequences. Otherwise, it would resume naval operations against Israeli-linked ships. Ansarullah also said it would take military action if the United States and the Israeli regime displaced Palestinians from Gaza forcibly.

Yemen staged more than 100 attacks on Israeli-bound ships from November 2023 to January 2025.

In support of their leader, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi hundreds of thousands of Yemenis took to the streets across the Arab country on Friday to express solidarity with the Palestinians. This episode of The Spotlight looks into the potential dire consequences of ignoring the four-day ultimatum for the regime and Washington.
