Members of the Basij force have paraded in Tehran, demonstrating their readiness to confront threats and participate in relief and rescue operations.
110,000 Basij members took part in Friday's parade that was held by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).
It took place as part of the IRGC's week-long Payambar-e-A’azam (Great Prophet) 19 military drills in the country.
The parade was aimed at demonstrating the all-out readiness of Basij forces to confront threats, as well as their unity and professional skills regarding relief and rescue operations and those against terrorist attacks.

The parade also featured the exhibition of some military equipment.
On the sidelines of the event, 110,000 livelihood packages, 670 sets of dowries, and hosts of stationery items, were distributed among those in need.
IRGC Tehran chief Brigadier General Hassan Hassanzadeh had earlier described the parade as a cultural-combat one, saying it conveys a message to the enemies that those sacrificing their lives for the Iranian nation are standing firm on the scene.
