Battling with terrorists
Syria’s armed forces continue their operations against Takfiri terror groups in the northwestern parts of the country, pounding their positions and gathering points. According to the Syrian army, its forces have completely secured the outskirts of Hama Province, including the town of Tuba following fierce fighting with the terrorists. An army statement also says that troops successfully rescued students and officers of the Military Engineering Academy after breaking the siege in Aleppo. This is while the Syrian media reports the killing of at least 1,600 terrorists since the beginning of operations by the country armed forces backed by Russian air power. Clashes between the army and the foreign-backed terrorists erupted after Takfiri groups launched a surprise attack on some parts of Syria last week. Meanwhile, Russia has reiterated its support for Damascus in face of the resurgence of terrorism in the Arab country.
US-Israel terrorists nexus
The Israeli regime continues its violations of the fragile ceasefire deal with Lebanon, carrying out more acts of aggression against the country. According to the Lebanese health ministry, a drone strike on the southern town of Shebaa has killed a civilian. The regime’s drones also targeted the outskirts of Deir Siryan and Beit Lif, injuring another civilian. Meanwhile, several explosions have shaken some southern Lebanese villages, including Yaroun, as Israeli forces blew up residential buildings. France, an observer state of the ceasefire, says Israel has breached the agreement more than 50 times. Only on Monday, the regime’s attacks on the Arab country killed nearly a dozen people. The ceasefire is still holding, but sporadic and deadly Israeli attacks in breach of the agreement have been reported since its enforcement last week. The regime claims its attacks target the positions and military equipment of the Hezbollah resistance movement.
US-Israel Gaza genocide
This is yet another deadly day for Palestinians in Gaza as the Israeli military keeps pounding the blockaded territory indiscriminately and relentlessly with air and artillery strikes. In central Gaza, at least two Palestinians were killed in strike on a residential area in Deir al-Balah. A Palestinian medic also lost his life after Israeli warplanes targeted a school sheltering the displaced people. Similar attacks on Gaza City left over a dozen people dead and many others wounded. In the south, eleven civilians were killed in a drone attack in Rafah. Schools sheltering Gazans in the city of Beit Lahia experienced a difficult night due to intense shelling. Gaza’s Civil Defense described the situation there as catastrophic, saying 60,000 residents are at risk of death. It warned that residents in northern Gaza have not received proper food and clean water for 60 days. Over 44,500 civilians have been killed since the regime launched its genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023.
