US and British warplanes have conducted a joint airstrike against a target in Yemen, amid the country’s solidarity with the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip and the Lebanese nation in the face of Israel's brutal aggression.

Yemen’s Arabic-language al-Masirah television network, citing a security source speaking on condition of anonymity, reported that the attack targeted an area in the al-Garrahi district of Yemen’s strategic western province of Hudaydah on Saturday evening.

The attack came just a day after the US-British coalition launched two airstrikes on the At Tuhayat district in the same Yemeni province.

Yemenis have declared their open support for Palestine’s struggle against the Israeli occupation since the regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7, 2023.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have said that they won’t stop their attacks until Israeli ground and aerial offensives in Gaza end.

The Israeli regime has had in place a near-total siege on the coastal territory, which has reduced to a trickle the supply of food, medicine, electricity, and water into the Palestinian territory.

So far, Israel has killed at least 43,552 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured 102,765 others.

Leader of the Ansarullah resistance movement Abdul-Malik al-Houthi has said it is “a great honor and blessing to be confronting America directly.”
