Hundreds of pro-Palestine demonstrators took to the streets of Dusseldorf on Saturday in protest against the 'genocide' in Gaza and to demand an embargo on German arms supplies to Israel.

Footage shows crowds marching with Palestinian flags while brandishing placards and banners bearing slogans such as 'stop the genocide' and 'freedom in Palestine'.

According to official statistics from the German Foreign Ministry, the country has exported some 94 million euros ($101.5 million) worth of military equipment to Israel over the past three months.

Also in the Netherlands’ capital, Amsterdam, hundreds gathered in Dam Square to protest the genocide in Gaza and the historical Balfour Declaration of 1917, which facilitated the occupation of Palestine.
