Millions of Yemeni demonstrators gather in the capital Sana’a and many other cities to express their support for the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance, warning against Israel’s plots to enslave all Arab countries.
They held massive rallies titled "Loyalty to Martyr Leaders... With Gaza and Lebanon Until Victory."
Participants carried flags of Yemen, Palestine and Lebanon alongside portraits of the leaders of the Lebanese and Palestinian resistance movements, Hezbollah and Hamas, who have been martyred by the Israeli regime.
They denounced the ongoing Israeli brutal massacres, forced displacements and genocide against the Palestinian people with the West support.
The participants slammed the complicity of the international community and inaction of Arab and Muslim countries in the face of Israeli aggression and crimes against the people of Gaza, Palestine, and Lebanon.
They reaffirmed their commitment to support Gaza, Palestine, and Lebanon and their readiness to confront any escalation from the US, Israel and Britain.
In a statement, the demonstrators said the Israeli aggression has extended beyond Gaza to Lebanon and the West Bank as the international community remains largely silent.
The Yemeni people pledged to continue their weekly marches in solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples until victory is achieved.
They offered their condolences to Hezbollah and the broader Arab and Muslim countries over the martyrdom of head of Hezbollah Executive Council, Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, by the Israeli regime and vowed to honor his legacy and the legacies of other martyred resistance leaders.
‘Resistance emboldened by martyrdom of leaders’
The statement warned Israel that attempts to target the resistance leaders would fail to weaken their resolve as the regime’s past actions have only fueled the resistance in Palestine and Lebanon.
The statement called on the Arab and Muslim nations to be cautious about the Israeli threats, urging them to resist passivity and to stand against those who would compromise on their dignity and sovereignty.
The march concluded with a renewed assertion that no challenge would deter Yemenis’ determination to confront any escalation from adversaries.
Yemenis have declared their open support for Palestine’s struggle against the Israeli occupation since the regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7, 2023 after the territory’s Palestinian resistance movements carried out a surprise retaliatory operation, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, against the occupying entity.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have said that they won’t stop their attacks until unrelenting Israeli ground and aerial offensives in Gaza end.
